A Little About Me
Design with character, clarity & purpose.
I'm Amy Goddard, a graphic designer based in the beautiful Wiltshire village of Aldbourne, near Marlborough. I work with local businesses and clients across the UK, creating thoughtful, creative design that helps brands stand out and connect with their audience.
My Creative Journey
My passion for design began in London, where I studied at the London College of Communication, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Marketing & Media Design.
My career started in the colourful world of children's television, working alongside Keith Chapman on much-loved brands including Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car. From brand style guides and packaging to clothing and promotional materials, it was a fantastic introduction to bringing brands to life across different platforms.
I then moved into the beauty industry, joining Coty, where I worked on in-store displays and promotional design for well-known brands including Beckham, Lady Gaga and Rimmel.
From there, I joined Point6 Design, specialising in packaging design for Philips Avent, further developing my experience in creating commercially focused, engaging design.
A Different Perspective
After moving from London to the Wiltshire countryside to raise my family, my career took me into the healthcare sector.
Working with older audiences gave me a new appreciation for the importance of clear communication, accessibility and thoughtful design. It reinforced something I've always believed – great design isn't just about looking good; it needs to work beautifully too.
Where I Am Today
Today, through AR Goddard Design, I bring together my experience across entertainment, beauty, packaging, healthcare and marketing to offer a friendly, personal design service.
I love the variety of working with different businesses, from established brands to local independents. Whether it's creating a new identity, designing a brochure or developing marketing materials, I approach every project with the same creativity, care and attention to detail.
One of my favourite parts of being a designer is getting to know the people behind the businesses I work with. I believe the best results come from building good relationships, listening to ideas and working together.
For me, great design is about understanding your business, finding what makes it special and bringing that to life creatively.
