About me

My journey in graphic design began in London at the London College of Communication, where I earned a BA (Hons) in Marketing & Media Design.

My first role was in children's television, working alongside Keith Chapman on brand style guides, packaging, clothing, and promotional materials for much-loved shows including Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car.

I then moved into the beauty industry, joining Coty, where I designed in-store displays for leading brands including Beckham, Lady Gaga, and Rimmel. From there, I transitioned to Point6 Design, specialising in packaging design for Philips Avent.

After relocating to the countryside to raise my family, I moved into the healthcare sector, where I developed a strong focus on accessibility, legibility, and user-centred design for older audiences. This experience strengthened my belief that great design should not only look beautiful but also communicate clearly and effectively.

Today, through Argoddard Design, I work with a diverse range of clients, bringing together experience from television, beauty, consumer products, and healthcare. Whether creating brand identities, packaging, marketing materials, or accessible communications, I strive to deliver thoughtful, engaging design that balances creativity with purpose.

I believe the most effective design is both visually compelling and highly functional, helping businesses tell their story, connect with their audience, and achieve their goals.

“Amy was a delight to work with during her time at Chapman Entertainment. Not only a talented designer, she loves doing what she does, always with a smile and always on time. Amy will go far and we will miss her loads.”
